Kesyl's Music Quote
I pick my skirts to be sexy
Just like my thoughts a bit naughty
When I'm out with my girls ...bitchy
Can't change I am
Sexy naughty bitchy me

-- Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy by Tata Young

Isabelle's parents died in a plane crash the day that the veil between Earth and Zynedia was torn. (The light from the tear made the gravity around the plane malfunction and caused the fuel in the engine to become unstable and explode.) From the moment of their deaths, Isabelle's grandmother, Lydia, has hated the Kindred and has been striving for their downfall.

Isabelle grew up being told that the Kindred are mutated freaks who should be used as slave labor or lab rats. When Lydia begins to realize that something else...something far more at play, she is horrified. She forms Godless in the claim that a true God requires faith, and that whatever these Immortals are, they are no friend to humanity.

Isabelle tends to try and stay as far from her grandmother's scheming as she can, be the old bat wants to groom Isabelle to be her successor, and when Laurel's health is threatened by a disease that the doctors cannot identify, Isabelle begins to crack.

But as the holidays approach and a chance to finally meet her crush, Sarena's human-turned-Kindred brother Jayden turns up, Isabelle's mind is about as far from fulfilling her grandmother's legacy as it can be? Will she eventually fulfill the destiny set out for her, or will she blaze her own path?
